Oh Israel, Israel, beloved of the Lord, you were made His firstborn, the nation that He formed. Your birth was over three thousand years ago and yet today is your seventy eighth anniversary, celebrated as Independence Day! You Israel, a nation despised, God has not forgotten you, for you are loved in His sight. Remember the word He gave to Isaiah that is forever true, “Can a woman forget her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you.” (Isaiah 49:15) Oh Israel, Israel, beloved of the Lord, His covenant with you as a nation is forever more! Recall His word to Jeremiah about you as a nation, my beloved Israel will never cease nor never be shaken. (Jeremiah 31:35-36) Oh Israel, Israel, soon and very soon, I will put to shame and silence those that lied and said I was done with you. For your eyes shall be wide opened and you shall see, your Jewish Messiah and soon coming King. The eternal inheritance that has been given to you is inscribed on the gates and foundations of the New Jerusalem, a testament of my faithfulness and covenant promises to you. (Revelation 21) Until that day my beloved, I will continue to watch over you and raise up those I’ve chosen to cry aloud for you. These too are my beloved and together with you soon, there will be a great feast with all of you as my bride and Me as your groom! What a day that will be!
