Shalom! Welcome to my blog. If this is your first time here, I encourage you to go to the “about” page, where you will receive a clear definition of who One New Man is. Last week, I blogged about a mystery that was revealed to the Apostle Paul in Ephesians 3:1-11. I am referring to the mystery of One New Man, in which its foundation is in the message of the Cross.  How so you may ask? It was through His body on the Cross, that separated the middle wall  between Jew and Gentile, (See Eph 2:14,15), thus bringing them together as One. So not only did He die for our sins, and not only did He heal us by His stripes, but in His body, He broke down this wall between Jew and Gentile, and restored them back to the original intent of God’s plan for both.

Jesus Himself was a mystery that had been hidden through the ages of time. The Bible calls it “the hidden wisdom of God”, the divine plan that has been previously hidden, for our glorification. (1 Cor 2:7). From last week, we learned that according to verse 8, that if the rulers of this age or if the world had perceived or understood this mystery, they would have never crucified the Lord our Glory, thus making our salvation ineffective! And God only knows, we all needed saving. Amen?

Now, we see Yeshua hidden in the pages of the OT that foreshadowed His coming. We see the same with One New Man. The purpose of these two, has an eternal purpose wrapped around them. And this is the purpose: Salvation for the world! Yeshua is salvation manifested, and the church are the dispensers of that salvation.  You may be asking, why am I sharing this? It is important to understand our calling as the Body of Christ, because within that calling, is God’s eternal purpose working in and through us as One New Man! He will not return, until His Body becomes a whole, completed unit, as it was in the book of Acts. It is there, you will find that the promise of the outpouring of His Spirit was manifested (Acts 2). So, just think of what it will be like now, as God is gathering all things which are in Heaven and on Earth, in Christ, which includes us, Jew and Non-Jewish believers! (Eph 1:10) And coming together as One, in this dispensation of time, means there will be a greater outpouring, and a greater revival the world has never seen! So now, let’s look at a few One New Man relationships in the Old Testament, that God used to bring about deliverance for His people, and to bring Him glory:

  • Joseph and Pharoah
  • Joshua and Rahab
  • Esther and the King
  • Ruth, Boaz and Naomi

I especially love the story of Ruth. It is a story of love, sacrifice, and redemption It’s a shadow of Yeshua Himself. In this story, you will find Ruth, a Moabite woman, a Gentile, that was grafted into the future of the Messianic line because of her willingness to follow, and her willingness to know God. She said in Ruth 1:16, “Entreat me not to leave you, Or to turn back from following after you; For wherever you go, I will go;And wherever you lodge, I will lodge; Your people shall be my people, And your God, my God.”

Those words she spoke were covenant terms that God honored. Ruth and Naomi, were both Jew and Gentile that God used for a divine purpose……..to establish the Messianic line. Ruth is also the great-grandmother of David. Yes, King David.  See Matthew 1:1-6 for Jesus’ genealogy, that was made up of both Jew and Gentile. Jew AND Gentile? Yes! I know it is surprising to some of you, that Jesus comes from a line of Gentiles as well, but this is what is told to us in the Bible. And what God says, is final authority. Now does this take away from Him being the Jewish Messiah? No, it does not. God has set things in its place and it’s order. He chose a Jewish virgin to birth a Jewish boy in the flesh, (See Romans 9:5), through the seed of a Jewish God! There is always a first fruit order, that God establishes as an example and a precedent for others. First for the Jew, and for the Greek. First a Jewish Savior, then a One New Man. Everything we have, came from the Jews, and that’s a fact (Romans 9:4). But God in His love and mercy also included the Gentiles, by grafting them in, in saying to them that He loves them, and has a purpose and great plan for them. He welcomes them into the Jewish family of God. This was to fulfill His covenant that He made with Abraham regarding His seed. (See below) He has given them to be partakers of all that He had given to the Jews. That’s how important we all are to God. We are family! Let’s examine the grafting in, a little bit more through the OT.

We find that the Gentiles, were given the opportunity to partake of the inheritance and the promises of God because of the promise He made to Abraham in Genesis 17:4-6, “As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations.“No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations. I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come from you.”

Glory to God! Thank Adonai (Lord), for our Father Abraham, and his faithfulness to obey God!

The following are a few more scriptures, that will reveal to you, the plan of the grafting of the gentiles.

Deuteronomy 29:10-13, Isaiah 49:6, 56,6-8, Amos 9:11-12, Acts 10 (NT)

The Gentiles, were given the opportunity by God to share in the inheritance. (See Ezekiel 47:21-23). How did they partake of the inheritance in the OT? Through circumcision. Exodus 12:48, “And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.”

This was a foreshadowing of our covenant with God through Yeshua.  Circumcision was a tool that God used, to separate a people unto Himself. It was His Covenant, that began with Abraham and to His seed. (See Genesis 17) That’s why, when we became born-again, it says in Romans 2:29, that circumcision is that of the heart, not of the flesh. It is a separation and covenant that we all have with God through Yeshua!  Thank you Adonai!

Let’s look at one last scripture in the New Testament. Here, you will find Paul revealing this mystery to the Gentile believers. Ephesians 3:1-11. “For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ), Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; That the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Amen!

So I am personally thankful to God, that He not only had a plan for us Jews, but also for the Gentiles, that they would be included in the family of Yeshua! How precious is His heart for all mankind!

In closing, it is on the Father’s heart to make known, that within His great plan for all mankind, lies within, the plan of One New Man. A double-edged sword that will tear up the kingdom of darkness in these last days, and will bring about world revival, and reconciliation to the Father. We are the High Priests of God, ministers of reconciliation, that have a high calling and plan, that will reveal Yeshua to the world! See John 17:20-23. Blessings to you! See you next week!

What is awesome about G-d, The one new man has always been in G-ds heart from the foundations of the world. Through Abraham he will be a father to many NATIONS. Jews are a nation and the Gentiles are nation. G-d wants all men to be saved so through the Jew first and then the Gentile we will win the world for G-d. He has had Jew and gentile to be one from the begging.
